the rangers have won 3 in a row, and oddly in the most quiet way I've ever seen, they have the 6th best power play in the league? I know it sounds outlandish, but it's true.

I can't argue that when they collapse like they did against Boston last year. That was pitiful.

I knew that when the Islanders gave them fits last year the post season was going to end quicker than us Pens fans expected. Bylsma was totally out coached in that series. Same as the Philly series the year before. Bylsma gets out coached, and had no control over the team then either. Defense went out the window, and of course the Pens got their asses handed to them. The team and coaching staff as an absolute whole start sucking in the post season, and have for the past few years. Whatever system they start the post season with gets tossed out the window the minute the puck drops. The team has looked lost in the post season the past two years. I blame that as much on Bylsma as much as anyone. Hopefully Jacques Martin can keep the ship straighter this year, but I'm not holding my breath...

I agree about Bylsma being out coached but I honestly think Letang was HORRIBLE in the Bruins series. I know the whole team didn't show up but he really shit the bed in that series in my opinion. IIRC he was a minus 7 in the 4 games. You also have to remember that Crosby and the gang pretty much run the locker room. He's Lemieux's little buddy and he's untouchable. He was the reason that Therrien got fired. He didn't like being told what to do so he cried to Mario and the next thing you know the guy who wants them to play responsible hockey is out the door.

WTF was Bylsma thinking last night putting Letang out as a forward on the four on four in the third period. I knew as soon as I saw Letang was playing as a forward the Pens were gonna get burnt, and they did. The whole time I was cursing Bylsma like a dog for being so fuggin's stupid. I thought the Pens win last night was fortuitous.

By the way, did anyone see the shellacking the Ducks put on the Canucks last night? Tortorella was more subdued than I thought he would be in the post game interviews. I was rather looking forward to the rabid, slathering Tort's, especially about the 7 minute 5 on 3, but I guess I'll have to wait for another day...

Tort's is an asshole plain and simple not to mention a fucking cry baby! But on the Bylsma situation I thought the same thing. I had no clue WTF Letang was doing out there and apparently neither did he. If he worked at it Letang could possibly be a good forward. Let's face it he's not much of a defenseman.
