He should have hung it up when they traded for Schnieds. I guess he's got some compromising pictures of Lou L. or something, because for some reason they keep throwing him sooo many starts.

They'll never force him out. They'll let him do whatever he wants. The guys like royalty in the league not to mention arguably one of the best goalies to ever play the game. I agree that he is getting up there in age and lately his play has been sub par but I still have a ton of respect for the guy regardless of his off ice domestic problems. I never really heard that whole story anyway. Just a bunch of crap about him supposedly having an affair with his wife's brothers wife. Just saying that sounds funny as hell.

IIRC they (NJD) won the Cup that year....& that entire finals they would show his wife & kids in the stands celebrating....months later this news came out re: his infidelity....sad....& creepy!!
