Detroit coughs a tying goal in the waning seconds of the 3rd and Mike has 2 rookies out there in the final minute with Montreal netminder pulled for the extra attacker. This coach has cost us about 6-10 points by the personnel he throws out late in games. Here we are, battling for playoff lives against a divisional/conference rival Montreal (who we're trying to catch) and Mike throws rookies out there with no attempt to secure a regulation win. Scotty Bowman has to be laughing his ass off right now.

rangers -hawks tonight. marquee test to see how long its gonna take for the rangers to start playing well again. took almost 50 games to get rolling to start the season, now there's only 23 left. and the 2nd best scorer is hurt in zuccarello. it's all in henrik's hands as usual.

The March 5th trade deadline is looming. Its rumoured Martin St Louis would waive his no trade clause for the Rangers. Time will tell...

Winter Classic - Vancouver vs Ottawa this Saturday. Hopefully it's snowing because they plan on opening the roof if it is. Since the hockey will probably suck it will be nice to see some snowfall.

the rangers are as speedy as the hawks are, they just can't score. i'll take ST. Louis from tampa any day, fuck, i'd take bostron college's best scorer right now. gonna be interesting to see if Callahan and girardi are still around in a few days. oh, by the way, anyone else take pleasure in watching the habs come back 3 times and beat the much hated pens? I can't believe i'm saying this shit but the hatred for the pens is just too much. rooting for the habs is truly deplorable but I couldn't help myself. weird to watch the pens squander 3 leads at home no less. that doesn't happen often. it was a good game to watch.

but your team is loaded with grit, I cannot hear worry from bruin or penguin fans without chuckling a little bit, I was surprised to see the sabres pull that off the other night though. 3 more games and you'll be humming along again just fine.

Talbot has been great this year, but it's still in henrik's hands in the end as it always has been. cliff is right, rangers need at least two legitimate scorers to do any real damage in the playoffs as it stands right now
