-27 after another loss to the Pens last night...but apparently that's less interesting to the peanut gallery than Crosby (+10 on the season) having a -5 game

I remember Brian Burke referring to +/- stats as 'horse shit'. It's true, players are regularly given a -1 even though they weren't directly at fault on the goal.

the window has closed on Ovi as far as a Stanley cup goes, at least with the players they have around him. maybe the rangers can sign him like 5 years from now for a ridiculous amount of money and guarantee he won't ever win one. I still think the guy is possibly the most apex player in one package that I've ever seen.

That's two tough lads. Some solid shots were cleanly landed. It's admirable how hockey players can 'leave it on the ice', meaning, if fights were allowed in some pro sports there'd be a shooting after the game.

He's talented but I'd have to disagree having grown up watching guys like Wayne Gretzky, Mario Lemieux and Messier.
