Well on the note of surprising players how about Matt Niskanen? 40 points +31. I am very surprised anyway. He showed some good signs last year but I didn't expect this kind of output from him.

Normally I'd agree with you Lutz but if the Penguins who played Philly show up it'll be the other way around. This is where hockey gets tough for me. My two favorite teams of all time going at it.

and the penguins get to do whatever they want on the ice again. Crosby skates the puck in on a last ditch effort to tie the game, and two guys are offside, not one, and is there a whistle? of course not. and the pens nearly miss tying the game with 2 seconds left, almost pulled it off.

Let's not talk about the officiating. They add a second referee and they're still blowing calls left and right. It sucks and it always has and that's all I'll say.

So now you know what the linesman saw or didn't see through the television? Tell me, what's it like to be clairvoyant? Give me a break bro. They constantly miss calls. How about the breakaway goal Danny Briere scored on the penguins in the playoffs a couple years ago? He was offside by at least a whole meter and they missed that too. The only thing that's uniform about NHL officiating is the fact that they miss calls every night in every game and it'll never change.

I am the all wise and ever knowing "Nostra-Thomas", it's pretty fuckin cool being clairvoyant, but clairvoyancy had nothing to do with it, it was right in front of everyone's eyes, including the refs.
