I had thought Shero did a good job bringing quality players. Pittsburgh had a decent mix of players, they're just not utilized nor structured for playoff type of hockey. I could see Bylsma getting canned but the GM? I guese Mario and partner want a clean slate and fresh start. Trade Crosby for couple cheaper players who show up to play in April, May and June as all the other months of the season are fairly meaningless. One goal in what was it, 18 playoff games fort he NHL's poster child? That is not star player performance and a country mile form super star performances.

He certainly doesn't look like he has what it takes to be a great play off hockey player. He also doesn't really do anything but whine a lot in the play offs for the last three or four years.

Utterly disgraceful performance by the Bruins last night....& for most of that series!!

I watched some of the Hawks/Kings game yesterday. Tough series that will be regardless of length. The curious thing was that one network's analysts were saying that the Hawks took advantage of what the Kings gave them and another network's analysts were saying how the Hawks made their opportunities.

Hawks played mediocre yesterday. Could've easily been 3-1 la. Too many breakdowns defensively. Toews disallowed goal was borderline, but I think the right call was made, he ran into quick before the puck was in.

I figured out something while watching an interview/press conference...Therien's face is too large for his head. There is only so much space on a melon and that guy has way too much face pushed onto the front of his, so when he makes a sour expression, it's a huge muppet face sour expression from some sort of comical horror movie. The press conference when he is saying that Kreider's play was reckless.

the Ranger penalty kill hasn't given one up since game 1 against the pens. so has the powerplay given up more goals than the pk in total? haaa haa!!
