I think the Barrett is like Desert Eagle... while it's great and functional, it's more gimmick than anything.

I've wanted to own a RPD or PKM for over a decade now... before any of the kits came out. 54r is still relatively cheap, so to me, for a fun range gun, I'd pick the RPD over the Barrett without a second thought.
