Of course I am in the same boat. We associate with our own.

This is what I think of Gibson since 1993. I HATE BEING LEFT HANDED! I rock out to Baby metal because Wilkinsi said I can't listen to Rick Astley anymore.

Not a "for the children" post but.... A PED approved regime would turn off a lot of people and would encourage their use in youth leagues. There are already situations where parents doctor shop for a practitioner who will prescribe a kid HGH to overcome a dodgy medical diagnosis. If allowed that will become all the more prevalent.

Youll never stamp it out but opening the door completely would have an impact far wider than the professional leagues.

I get that the genie is out of the bottle and he's not going back in, but that doesn't mean he should run unhindered.

good points Vass, and you are right in regards to the youth athletes, but these guys in MLB and the other major sports are adults ya know, I think it's up to them if they want to ruin themselves in the long run. human beings are stupid by nature, myself included, I did drugs forever until I finally figured out that I shouldn't. how stupid can one be? with me, pretty fuckin' dumb. I don't care if its drugs, booze, pot, steroids, stimulants, supplements, all the way to things like money, overeating etc. , whatever it is, excess in all things is the undoing of men, so if these guys are going to be prosecuted, fined, suspended, and possibly expelled from the game for this shit, to me it's wrong in my opinion. the stuff is so readily available to anyone. when something is illegal, it only opens up more corrupt factions. make it legal like booze is to everyone. like cigarettes are to everyone. why do those two get to be legal and nothing else? I just find it ridiculous how many people jump on players for their actions like they are the almighty moral masters of the world, it's sickening. boy am I spouting nonsense or what? i'm good at it.

Agreed on the adults. I'm not in the habit of telling adults what they should or shouldn't do, provided it doesn't fuck with other people.

Yeah but what about all the guys from the early days of the sport whose records are being shattered by these cheats? I don't think it's fair to them or their legacy. Guys like Ruth, Ty Cobb, Hank Aaron, Lou Gehrig, Roger Maris and so on all earned those records with their talent not drugs. I don't think Guys like Sosa, Mcgwire, Canseco or Bonds and the myriad of other cheaters should be allowed to just take records away from people who earned them because of a magic pill or cream. I think the "purity" of the game is gone in my opinion. I also think it's more rampant than people think in other sports as well. It seems like pretty much everyone is doing something now to get an edge. In my opinion it's just not right. I graduated high school in 1995 and I was a varsity wrestler. I won states in my weight division two times. I started wrestling when I was in 5th grade. I never saw anybody do any P.E.D's for the first five years but by 1992 in the locker room at least half the guys on the team were juicing. Not just juicing but doing pills anabol, Dyno, speed, winstrol deca, anything they could get their hands on. The fucked up part about it was the coaches fucking knew about it and not only turned a blind eye but encouraged it as well. I wrestled at the weight class of 165 and I was damn good at it (I had a 2nd degree black belt in Judo by the time I was 15 my dad is and was a Judo instructor to this day). I only lost 3 matches in 4 years. Luckily I was also scared to death of needles and drugs at that point so I steered clear of those guys and the shit they were taking. My point is like Atomic Charvel Guy said it's pretty much everywhere and it is being encouraged for our youth to take or at least experiment with it and that's a shame.

I wasn't aware that Maryland was within the state of Massachusetts. Last time I checked it was 370 miles away.
