The strange thing about Scientology is everyone knows it is fake. It is like the Pro Wrestling of religions. I have seen the inside workings of cults and they are damn scary. This though is so insane. I truly don't get it. When the founder is on record as saying it is a joke it is just baffling. religion creates nothing except intangible emotional solace for those who require it. or should I say want it, that sounds better. get a big enough soapbox to stand and spout upon and some kind of percentage of human beings will buy into it no matter what your saying, it's frightening.

i'm not saying having something spiritual in your life is bad, I wish I did, but it's hard for me to pick a religion when there are thousands of them out there, with many of them that try to condition people to feel guilty for natural inclinations and also many claiming to offer the only path to forgiveness and salvation. I don't want any traffic with that kind of stuff, it just doesn't work for me.
