So Hammet had his guitars out on a table in front of repro movie posters? Were these the LTD versions and part of his ESPee contract to set up an advertising display?I want to depart this world the same way I arrived; screaming and covered in someone else's blood

They were in Kirks Crypt. A close friend of mine has been friends with the band since the Cliff days. Friday we helped setup and met Kirk and James. I'm rarely at a loss for words and I was…..duh as I was talking to James.
For me to say I was in jaw drop mode is an understatement. Some of you I know are in the music business and this would just be another day but to me is was

He actually impressed the hell out of me. Introduced himself as James then asked me my name.......No shit you are James...lol.
My bud and he were talking about him losing his father and James said some stuff I wanted to write down it was so sincere. I have to say he was pretty damn cool.

One time... forget if it was Motorhead Wendy O and Exodus... or a Possessed show or something. He was in the pit... kept getting knocked down and trampled on... nobody was really picking people up either, was a weird night. He had to have been drunk off his ass or just fucked up... after picking him up for the 2nd or 3rd time, I just pushed him out of the pit and off to the side.
He actually didn't seem like a bad guy back in the day, but he was kinda major burnout. I remember the first time I saw him give an intelligent interview and I was like WTF...? Maybe he was just quiet or shy back then, or always stoned off his ass. I know I usually was. lolLast edited by xenophobe; 01-10-2014, 05:08 PM.The 2nd Amendment: America's Original Homeland Defense.

It's likely they have Europe/Asia rig and an Americas rig. 3 musicians using them X (1 live + 1 backup + 1 backstage rig ) X 2 rigs = 18. A couple extra for safety or home studio use and the 20 becomes an easier number to understand. It might seem crazy to you or me, but for a global touring act the numbers kind of add up.GTWGITS! - RacerX
