Not sure what's in the back there, but I think had at least two RR models... his old black '85 Custom, and I believe another black one with a Floyd.

I've seen jam-room pics of him with a white(?) one with a Kahler too. And I think he has RR0005 or another v early one. But I doubt that'd be on the road with him..

Interesting. I know he also had a Roswell, but I have no idea what other Jacksons he's had.

That's a good point that I forgot to mention. The European rigs run on different current so I am sure they are completely different clones of the USA rigs.
This is what I think of Gibson since 1993. I HATE BEING LEFT HANDED! I rock out to Baby metal because Wilkinsi said I can't listen to Rick Astley anymore.

On the youtube video I saw of Hammetts rundown I think he had 4RR's

It's more shipping costs. Planes and boats cost more to use than trucks and trains.

+1 Agreed but power has something to do with it too I am sure.

They were probably kept in secure storage when not on stage. ESPees can be churned out in a day, but a vintage Jackson takes 30 years to replace.

And yeah, with the Axe-FXs not exactly being mass-produced (as I understand it, at least not on the level of a Digitech product), buying 20 at once means you actually have one when you need it. Probably delayed the orders for a bunch of GearPage guys who are all pissed about it, but they'll get over it
I want to depart this world the same way I arrived; screaming and covered in someone else's blood
