Most owners I know either work a lot or made some sacrifices along the way to make things happen. I joined a Camaro Club last year and even though we get 70-80 Camaro's showing up at car events and shows I'm one of the few with a ZL1. It was hard but if there's a will there's a way.

You guys might get a laugh at some of these pictures from events so here ya go...

Yeah I'm in the Northwest suburbs. There still is plenty of 3rd gens running around and the ones at the events are in mint condition which is really cool. I'm not sure what those folks do to keep those vehicles so nice but next time I see them I'll have to take plenty of pics.

OMG, gotta clean the keyboard now.

My fave car of all time is the 86 IROC. We had a red one at a local yard a couple years ago. It was there for ages, went, then came back. I don't think they were able to sell it. I'd just bought a new car so it was out of my reach, they wanted nearly 30g. Not too bad but wasn't in mint condition either.

There's been heaps of Camaros popping up lately round here, of every gen too, I go spastic when I see them.

There's something about the high output ceramic magnet pups that I can't turn away from. I can only describe it as raw. I'm sure many wouldn't like the Warpig or the Miracle Man in an alder guitar thinking the high's would be too harsh and the bass too boomy. The Duncan's will get me back though eventually. I never really found a replacement for the Duncan's so sooner or later I end up back with "old reliable".
            Nice cars!
