This is what I think of Gibson since 1993. I HATE BEING LEFT HANDED! I rock out to Baby metal because Wilkinsi said I can't listen to Rick Astley anymore.

Also, why are R2 nut (1 5/8") version so much cheaper than R3 nut (1 11/16")?

Because R2s are for narrow-nut Strats, and that fad died out several years ago when everyone wised up and went with full-on Shred sticks that did it better, so dealers were left with an unbalanced supply of R2 units.

I'm guessing they can't trade those back to Schaller for the R3 nuts and thus sell more complete units.

            Big nuts always cost more.
I want to go out nice and peaceful in my sleep like my grandfather, not screaming and hollering like the passengers in his car.
