Take a look! Behemoth, Enslaved, Tull and Fairport Convention all get a mention, although I listen mostly to heavier stuff like Marduk, Gorgoroth, Watain, Mayhem, Burzum etc when I'm writing.

Frankly I think it's nonsense- I paid what I paid of my own free will. Screaming about collusion over a product that the companies sued basically created just a few years prior is a bit much (yes I do understand the violation- still rubbish).
The pound of flesh doesn't come out of the creators of the content purchased with the credit of course. In essence the defendants are buying me books.
in any case, books should be here Monday or thereabouts. Looking forward to them!
How weird maybe I'll become a creepy fanboy like the loonies that obsess on what George RR Martin painted the kitchen.Last edited by Vass; 05-23-2014, 12:51 PM.

I think the only thing fans of GRRM obsess about is if he will ever finish that series.
Martin I will check out your work.I keep the bible in a pool of blood
So that none of its lies can affect me

I bought your books Steven, I like to read and I've not been doing enough of it lately. But first I'm going to read the new Joe Satriani book.Last edited by Hellbat; 05-28-2014, 09:29 PM.GTWGITS! - RacerX

I'm about 50 pages deep in the first one. Story wise too early to pass judgement (so far so good) but.... The kid can write. If you buy these it's not to support a JCF guy as a novelty. He actually can sling words and build scenes.
I've gotten very critical as I've gotten older. Been a big big reader since I was a little kid, but life is much busier and if something reads like dogshit on stilts I am out of there in 15 pages. I just don't have the time to give books a chance- too many to read! Even for Wolf's Head the 50 happened in one night, nothing since- hard to find the time.
So if you like the genre give it a shot.

GRRM will not let anyone finish GoT and he sited Jordan as an example. Funny, Sanderson did a fantastic job IMHO. Martin is frustrating. He actually gave HBO an outline but not another author.
I got your books too. I am interested in that take of a Robin Hood. I am actually deep into Malazan now, ( lol I read a lot more than fantasy I swear) but as soon as I am finished I am all over your books.I keep the bible in a pool of blood

I'm getting into audiobooks a bit now, for listening to in the car when I'm at work. I had Wolf's Head made as one and realised how cool it is to listen in the car rather than listening to metal all day!
Thanks Tetsuo for buying the books too, I've sold more paperbacks this month than any other!
