Why is forum perfomance so poor lately?

My platinum status ran up, and I won't be paying again until this shit gets sorted out. No matter how much I miss the generator...

Had been slow for me last week, but seems better to me now. Trace route showed host unreachable a few times.
But then again, I’m in shanghai…. If they were to give the internet an enema, shanghai is where they would put the hose.

Performance has been better overall the last couple days, but there are still times where it isn't good.

It's sad to hear about activity going down so much, people not renewing memberships, etc. It's been like a forum holocaust for me the last year or so: Harmony Central ruined their forum with a bad upgrade, same for ESP, Boss GT central died due to a technical issue.....and now JCF seems to be on the skids. Too many of my favorite forums are going down the tube!

Yeah many forums are seeing decline it seems. Is this because people spend most of their online time on social media sites like Fadbook these days?

The disappearance of power users like Ron (RacerX) is really noticeable, he was good for 10-15 posts daily to keep things moving along...
