Sorry to hear the bad news. I hate hearing we lost another of our JCF buddies I didn't realize that he had been away from JCF for so long but immediately recognized his screen name. RIP.

Getting old ain't for sissies, I think Rich was in the 58 or so range, and I don't think he was too well covered with insurance. It's a shame with all this technology and brilliance coming out that
people have to just suffer slowly and be let go without proper care just because they are not swimming in boatloads of cash.

I do know that Rich was always in on the Wild William Zurlo Train, as we all were, I miss this place, i feel so fortunate to have met so many cool guys here.
makes it harder when we lose one.

Sorry to hear about his passing.
He was a very nice guy on the JCF and always had positive things to say.

RIP, Rich! He had been through some really rough stuff over the years and had a great perspective on things rather than taking the bitter/angry approach. I'll miss him.

I just lost another buddy last night at 46 to a massive heart attack. He was a slim active guy, who was a singer in three tributes, iron Maiden, Cheap Trick and mostly devoted to his Alice Cooper tribute. Sigh... I've lost 7-8 friends starting with my dad passing last June, including an ex girlfriend. . So friggin tired of funerals and bumming on these losses.

                        Wow... no more Lerx.

Can't say we were buddies, but I'd certainly call him a brother... but we sure did chat about all sorts of different stuff here over the ages. I also figured he just moved onto greener pastures and didn't know that it was health related. I can certainly feel for all of that. I've certainly missed seeing him here since I started posting again. He was an important part of this community. I'm glad I got to know him.

                        RIP Rich.
