  • SAD NEWS, LERXSTCAT- our friend Rich passed away

I had no idea until the other day on facebook, and if this has already been addressed, excuse me but
I tried to wish rich a happy birthday and when I got to his page I saw the news that he had passed away.
I had great talks with him over the years no matter how good or bad my life was going, he was very cool,
and he "got it" about music, and life, and just being a good cat to others, this really bummed me out
and he deserves to be remembered, especially on here. I haven't been on the board here in a long time.
I hope this finds everyone else well and happy. This sucks, I'll miss you Rich!

Don't forget the corn. It's nutritious, delicious, and ribbed for her pleasure.

I found out the same. Went to wish him a happy B-Day on FB, and saw it.

For those that wish for details.... From what I gather, apparently he'd been in a nursing home for around a year or less, and had a massive heart attack mid November. He laid in a coma for a short bit and finally passed late November.

He was a really cool and nice guy. Always a "high road" dude. He gave me "calmer" "Happier" insights on a few things over the years when I'd had issues with people. Peaceful guy. Pretty sad to know of this happening. RIP brother. :-/

that's a great description of him Johnny, seriously right on the money. for me to think of any friend of mine in a nursing home, in pain, or anything like that is taxing on my heart.

he was a good mitigator, a calming voice and good at diffusing a situation when thing get misinterpreted. I miss screwing around with him on the forum back in the day. But had assumed that he'd just moved on and away from the JCF like a lot of our old friends. It didn't occur that his absence might be health related.

A real bummer. I remember him alluding to health issues, but he'd never expand or draw attention to them.
            Hail yesterday

Didn't know him well, but I remember him well enough - aways seemed like a cool cat. RIP.

Thoughts and prayers out to his loved ones. Very sad.
