Got this last night.

2011 vmax. 4000 miles, and mint shape. Killer deal on it too. Ive got an older 2000 vmax, this "new" one just destroys it in every aspect- handllng, brakes, suspension, and, most importantly, POWER! 197hp/123 ft lb of torque. Had it out today for about 10 min (weather sucks, 49 degrees), doing some quick second gear roll ons... Ive been on bikes since i was 11, and owned some seriously fast bikes, but I have NEVER felt this kind of "pull yer arms out of yer sockets" acceleration. Its beyond stupid.

Had a V-Max many years ago and a 1100 Katana ( dating myself ) at the same time. The V-max was just an angry bike. It would walk all over the Kat from a launch, but, the Kat stood tall at speed. I always felt that the V65's and the V-Max's were purely a muscle bike. Downright fun! -Lou

Well, luckily I'm friends with quite a few of the local constabulary.. But yes, it's a monster. Second gear goes from 30-90 faster than u can say 'holy shit'. No lie.
