Kane extends the streak to 26. Another questionable assist, but by the rule book, it counts. Would be cool to see him get 30 in a row.

It is a fun streak. He won't touch Gretzky but man this is impressive although some have been less than stellar. I am pretty sure they have a handler on him this year and hence the good playing is just oozing out of him.I keep the bible in a pool of blood
So that none of its lies can affect me

Great to see Montreal lose!!
Ovechkin is amazing. That OT goal last night was unreal. Coast to coast! My Duncan Designed pickups are way better than Seymour Duncan regular pickups you fanboy.
Yeah...too bad the forum doesn't have a minimum IQ.

There is a new Sheriff in MoTown, 19 year old rookie Dylan Larkin...only All Star on the team. 14g, 14a, 28pts tied for the lead the league in +/- at a respectable +23
God I hate the parity in this league. Outside of a couple teams no one is running away from the pack. I anticipate a tight race down the stretch..same deal this year for Detroit, their 24 year playoff run streak will be in the wind until the last week/game of the season
About the mid way point I'm fine with where the Wings are but they can't hold leads in the 3rd. They do win a lot of 1 goal games which is good but these games should really be 2-3 goal wins.shawnlutz.com

For all the potential firepower they have, the Pens have looked like shit for most of the year. Their defense sucks monkey nuts, and they can't win the one goal games. Still, Fleury has stood on his head, and they're trying to give us some hope here lately, but who knows where they'll end up come play off time. My money is they barely miss it unless the defense gets some upgrades.

The goalie gear is still too big. I don't understand how anyone can see it any differently.
Kessel sucked the talent right out of Toronto and now he's sucked the talent right out of Sidney Crosby. Perhaps he'll suck the talent right out of Malkin now too. Oh, he may score 42 goals but he won't help anyone win anything. Kessel is about Kessel. I wasn't happy when the trade was made for him and I was elated that they sent him packing. Kessel's only good on a loaded team...but then Pittsburgh is kinda loaded and they aren't doing so hot. It's only early though.
How could any team on this planet let T.J. Oshie go? Man, Washington got a good one with him. Finally another star who is a star in his own right there with Ovie.

I don't blame the guy for wanting to continue to play that way to avoid injury and have a long and healthy career but he isn't the guy to make a personal sacrifice and everyone in the league knows it.

This thread needs revived!!! I'm still liking the coaching change, and the Pens attitude and change in play the past few months. I don't recall the playoff races ever being this tight before. The parity in the league is so close now. It's going to be an interesting few weeks. Hopefully the Pens can keep their momentum up. Go Pens!!!

Red Wing rookie coach got his ass schooled in the second half of the season in Detroit. Lucky to make the playoffs and honestly would have liked to see the streak end...wtf is 5 more games? I'd rather get a 14 lottery pick.
Big changes next season without Pavel and eating his $7.5m mil salary because he's over 35 and can walk away from the last year of a contract and keep the money...so Wings lose still on of the best players in the world and 7.5 mil cap it they can use for replacement...double whamo.shawnlutz.com
