I do seem to find some great stuff be it guns or guitars. Its what I do I guess because I am out everyday hunting down leads and making phone calls.
Hit the pawn shops and gun stores every other day. A perk of being retired.
The quick change barrel will make cleaning so much easier.
My Robinson M96 has a quick change barrel too.

Take it out in the mud and drag it around a bit

        j/k

That's something I would probably do.

Where I shoot outdoors it can be tricky getting in when its really wet.
The indoor ranges won't let me rock and roll with it so its no fun.

Took it out today and did the suggested 200 round break in using magazines flawless operation.
Loaded the 100 round nut sack and had a few hiccups because the gun is still tight.
Ran a 200 round SAW box and it started to smooth out and run like it should.
It would have run better if I had oiled the links before loading them into belts.
All that is done now and I suspect she will run just fine next time out.
Belt feds just take time to tweak but when you get them right they will run all day long.
My Russian RPD was the same way, after about 500 rounds thru it it runs like a top.

Had it out today ran brass and steel case ammo total about 800 rounds and no issues at all.
Installed a Chip McCormick 3 1/2 pound trigger and one of the new Slide Fire MOD stocks.
Also added a Vortex SPARC II red dot.
Love the new stock they came out with.It looks much better and has a 6 position adjustment too.The old ones looked gawky and had no adjustment for length of pull.

Just tore it down for cleaning and I was surprised how clean the bolt and bolt carrier were.
Inside the receiver wasn't bad either and I could probably just wipe it down and run it more.
The gas piston is dirty but heck 800 rounds I would expect that.
The barrel and the chamber were filthy but cleaned up easily.
It ran like a top on steel cased ammo which is good and much cheaper to shoot.
Really glad I bought it because its a blast to shoot.

Bill I have a lot of trigger time on belt fed weaponry and this one is so cool because its pretty light, compact and nimble.
One day at the range with some friends a bird landed in front of a steel target out at 300 yds and the guy doing my spotting said all he saw was a cloud of feathers when the round hit.
All we found was the crow's tail feathers and feet.
The crow didn't have a good day.

Stray..that's impressive. But I'm crying because I love ravens. You murdered one of the murder. I need that crow's feather to put in my black Stetson fedora, so in didn't die in vain.

I'll try to look at the bright side. Maybe that crow had a bellyache, and your mercy blasted him to oblivion. Prolly looked like Looney Toons ...

In fact, I hear him tapping on my chamber door, and he told me to tell you..wow, he looks like Peter Lori...WTF ? He said ..

                          FUCK YOU !!!...NEVERMORE ...

                          ....

Sorry Bill it wasn't my intention but he landed right when the second stage of the trigger fell.
Maybe his wife had been nagging him earlier in the day or his mother in law had just moved in and making his life miserable.

No the lower is semi but I have a friend who wants to try out his M16 class III lower on it.
I have one of the new slide fire MOD bump stocks on it and it runs pretty close to full auto.
