        I rarely drink alcohol anymore.
My fave beer when I did drink was Spaten.
Its a dark German beer and they have been making it since 932 AD so they know how to make a good beer.
Never got into craft beers because its all about hype and a cute label and not so much about the quality of the beer.
        Really? well screw Mark Twain.

When I was hitting the beers this past summer I was liking Shocktop. But my beer condumption has dropped significntly since my late 20's. I've probably had less than 3 dozen beer all year.

I've been doing beer ratings for about 3 years now and I'd say that craft beers are hit and miss. Although, if you do find a good beer its likely that the maker makes more good beers. Elysian is quickly becoming a favorite brewer of mine.

I have a ratebeer.com account with same user name and so far I've managed to try and rate about 260 different beers.

Right on, man. Your top ten look pretty choice.

My go to for something I can grab at almost any store locally is anything from Stone. All of their IPAs are on point.

Pretty much anything except wheat beers. Tough to pick a favorite, but I'm typically an IPA man. Dale's Pale Ale is hoppy but with a killer malt backbone.

Sierra's Octoberfest this year was incredible.

If I'm drinking on a budget and I'm out of home brew, a Yuengling is the go-to beer.
Any way you could possibly put more shit into your sig?

I'll take a peak in the local beer stores and see if I can spot one.

Not gonna lie...I really miss the original Ruination. 2.0 isn't bad, but it pales in comparison.

Stella, Dos Equis XX Brown, JW Dundee's Honey Brown, Warsteiner, Grolsch...can't pick just one as they change and I rotate through 'em occasionally.

Being from Kentucky and right down the road from Lexington Brewing Co its sad to say Kentucky bourbon Barrel Ale their IPA and stout suck goat ass.
Citrus flavored beers are a no go with steak, fish or chicken.
Craft beers vary so much in flavor from batch to batch and inconsistency will kill a beer as far as sales goes.
Now a tall draft Spaten Optimator with brats, red cabbage and taters I can be all over that in a heartbeat.

I know what you mean about the craft brews not having 100% consistency. Its a hit and miss game sometimes.

I keep track of when I had a beer and if at all possible when they bottled it so I can try and get stuff from around the same time each year if I really like it, however, a lot of the bigger craft guys like stone are pretty damn consistent. also, all the europeans have it down to a science of how to brew consistently, some of these breweries are older than countries.
