And it's still the only album they did that's devoid of B-side filler tracks

Yeah it is the pinnacle of their work for sure. Really well produced and written. I am a huge AJFA fanboy but I can't argue Master,s mastery.

I was 14, don't feel bad. Still one of my favorite albums ever. Too bad they (Metallica) became the poster child for what they hated early on....

This is the wrong thread for that debate. I'm sure we can all agree on the greatness that Master of Puppets is. I still listen to Kill Em All, Lightning and Master to this day. Kill Em All is my favorite, but all three rank real close together. I'll start another thread for the great Metallica debate.

                        Great memories. RIP cliff.
KEA,RTL,MOP are the only albums I still listen to.
                        So raw, so real.

I was 13 when it came out. I remember having my mom drive me and a buddy to the local Sound Warehouse to pick it up the morning it came out. As soon as we got back in the car I unwrapped that cassette and threw it in the tape deck. My mom made it through Battery before she suggested that we listen to the rest of it after we get home. LOL. After being pummelled by that opening track I couldn't wait to hear the rest. I still love every song on the album.

Oh man I forgot about that place since it's been gone forever. All the tapes for the metal bands were always in the back corner of the store.
