Typical facebook...people commenting on things they know nothing about.
At least one guy can't imagine a bolt on costing $3000. $3000 for a neck thru? Maybe, but not a bolt on.96xxxxx, 97xxxxx and 98xxxxx serials oftentimes don't indicate '96, '97 and '98.

Facebook's full of retards. There's one guy, Jimmy Steiger, who a lot of people know, but he has no idea what a JT6 trem is. Someone posted a pic of one, and he said he couldn't see the fine tuners. After explaining they're on the bottom, around the string locking screws, he said no, all of his guitars have fine tuners on top like a real Floyd. He called me out and said he would bet me he's got JT6 on everything directly from the Jackson factory and that he's been there a million times, but yet he deleted all his posts when I took him up on his bet and told him the JT6 was only made one way. He clearly has no fucking clue his guitars have Schaller/JT590 trems and doesn't know what a JT6 really is. I sure hope that guy doesn't breed.I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.

I read an interview with Vai in a guitar mag at the time (Guitar World, Guitar Player, whatever) and they talked about the movie. They said that it was a Jackson, but they covered the headstock to avoid any potential legal trouble from Michael Jackson and his family. I remember thinking how lame that sounded.
I do think it's overpriced for a bolt-on, though.Member - National Sarcasm Society

I have a Facebook account, only so I can keep an eye on my son's page and access some other things.
I've never actually made a page, though. I doubt many people care when I take a dump or scratch my head.Member - National Sarcasm Society
