if anything he was smart by not always showcasing the guitar, the guy had it all, played a bunch of instruments, wrote countless tunes for other artists.
i hate when real talent dies. not to mention, great and catchy tunes, they're always in shortage but not with this guy.

That was a contract dispute with the record company. It was pretty foolish at the time to me but makes sense in retrospect.
