  • F-in' G4!

Attended this years G4 Experience with Satch, Vai, Eric Johnson, Alex Skolnick, Mike Keneally and some damn impressive B list-ers like Andy Aledort and Stig Mathisen. Even saw John Petrucci and Ron Bumblefoot Thal stop by to say "hi".

All in all, it was a blast! I definitely came away with some amazing memories, inspiration and knowledge.

Very cool. Would love to see Satch live, one of few guitarists I haven't yet been able to experience.

Honestly, he's better in one of his clinics than a full show. His music (to me anyway) get very "samey" and I tend to get bored. Nice guy though.

Agreed. I've seen him live 3 or 4 times before this, including several G3's and I found his performance(s) at the G4 to be more enjoyable- also might have had something to do with the fact that I was 15 feet from him last week.

I love Paul Di'Anno! He's badass and funny and entertaining. I regret not seeing him when he came to town a few years ago. Don't tell me you didn't laugh at this:

                        Sorry for the non-G4 tangent.
