Lately i been listening to The Deserts of Traun Part III: The Lilac Moon
Pretty amazing release, it has just about every music style in my collection on one album. Not particularily guitar/shred oriented, but 99 % instrumental musical joyride, has a bit of everything, but completely coherent, and flows together like it was always there.. Goes from jazz to black metal to shred to horns to new age, and completely fits together.
highly recomended, especially for those who may sometimes just enjoy music over "songs".
