Masterplan - MkII

I'm listening to Masterplan - "Aeronautics" right now after listening to their debut release, both of which I just got.

How does "MK II" measure up to the two earlier CD's? I know Jorn Lande left Masterplan.

MkII kicks ass. I like Mike DiMeao's vocals more than Jorn Lande's for this stuff. Roland cuts loose on some of the new stuff and I would place it a bit better than Aeronautics and at least as good as the debut, but not as good as Roland's Helloween stuff. The new drummer is a monster as well. He worked with Roland on Kalaidoscope and did awesome there as well. Pick that up if you get the chance.
