          • Behemoth - The apostasy

Instead of simply mentioning what one is listening to, a brief comment about what they feel about what they are listening to would give more usefulness to the thread IMO.

The apostasy...pretty good. Its been a LONG time since I listened to them and I had a complete misconception of this band. Its actually very nice to listen to. The vocals are purely old school death metal like suffocation, cannibal corpse... drums are the fast temp CC type. but the guitar parts are very nice. Some song parts can be classified actually as melo-death. I am liking the album so far.!!

            • "The Outlaws". "Green grass and high tides". The most missed group in the "70's multi-guitar heaven. On my record player, of course.
I am a true ass set to this board.

                • The Hurricane re-issues.

I got them from MusicBuyMail from Germany. Pretty fun stuff, especially if you're an older guy like me who was in high school and college during the glory days of the '80's. By the way, "Slave to the Thrill" uses the so-called "banned cover". Also, "Take What You Want" comes with 3 bonus tracks. And for those Doug Aldrich fans, Doug only appears on "Slave to the Thrill": Robert Sarzo plays guitar on the other discs.

                      • King Diamond - Give Me Your Soul...Please

Really a solid album with some pretty good guitar riffs as usual. If you didn't like King Diamond in the early days because of the falsetto, try this album or his Puppet Master because he seems not as shrill now a days.
