This is a pic of me behind the Neve board in studio 2 at Sunset Studios in Hollywood, where artists such as the Beatles, Led Zepplin, Linda Ronstadt(?), and the Rolling Stones have worked. The control room I am in is the same one used for VH II and Diver Down, if I remeber correctly. I have more pics of the studio if anyone is interested in what pro recording looks like, I'll post them.

Actually I wasn't producing the album, of course, but working as the guitar tech. I'm also the stage manager, but we don't get roadies once were in the studio. They do load all the gear in and out, but it's up to us to arrange it in there, with the help of studio "gophers". They get us whatever we need, guitars to rent, drum kits to borrow, free food, beer, you name it they'll get it. My job is to help dial in the guitar sound and to make sure all the guitars are in working order. Plus i tune after just about every take. Is there anyone I could email the pics to that could host them for me? Somebody decided to stop paying the bill on my old band's webspace. [img]graemlins/eyes.gif[/img] I'll crop and label them.

Not metal, more like classic rock. Think The Who around 1970. We are on Capitol Records, and right now the album release date is set for Aug 1st.
