• Musical Journey

OK don't laugh but I have been getting into 70s rock like fox on the run(sweet), children of the sun(can't remember the artist) found a copy of Traffics Mr. Fantsy. Looking for other early and mid 70s groups to check out. I have some early Journey before Steve Perry, Sabbath, Deep purple. I'm looking for some of the not so popular stuff thats not on classic radio.

Billy Thorpe is still a great performer. Powerful voice and a pretty handy guitarist to boot! Not bad for a dude who started his professional career as a Teen Idol.

On a whim I pulled out my Lp collection which I haven't looked at for 18 years. Most of the bands you guys listed have songs on several K-Tel albums I have don't laugh because you have a couple also.

Point Blank had a song called "Nicole" that got a lot of FM airplay.

Great song....we used to gig it....love the chorus......

I have it on tape...but it is long out of print.

Yes....that is the elusive, classic Nicole by Point Blank...I have the Casette which was American Excess....it is a great song I thought...nothing spectacular guitar wise, but a good song...

                              KING CRIMSON

Weird and different, and Robert Fripp is an incredible guitarist. Their stuff is really whack at times, but very interesting. They have been around for FOUR DECADES!
