Just curious if there's any other liberals on this board, cuz it sure seems like they get bashed a lot...I dont want to start any debates or anything, i'm just curious.

I used to be a "wanna-be" Republican but escaped corperate American and sucessfully started my own business. Now I'm a "they all suck" kinda person in political views. It doesn't matter if Bush or Kerry wins....... they'll both fuck everything up in different ways. The only way I'll vote in 2004 is if there's a "none-of-the-above" vote.

I'm a pretty liberal thinker but I don't think of myself as a Liberal or Conservative. I agree with a lot of things that stereotypical liberals agree with. I don't see a point to owning lots of guns but I would never take away the right to bear arms. I think too many people use abortion as birth control but I would never ever ever make abortion illegal. I think censorship is fucking gay. I think Bush is an ass but Democrats aren't much better.

According to American Heritage® Dictionary
Liberals favor government action to promote equality, whereas conservatives favor government action to promote order. Libertarians favor freedom and oppose government action to promote either equality or order.

depends where you live. in holland it is definately contradictive, in the US it is more or less the same (relatively seen that is)
