Ron's post on a thread about a week ago got me thinking, it's time for all the old guys (yeah, me included [img]graemlins/images/icons/tongue.gif[/img] ) to break out the old band pics and post'em for the hell of it (i'll start the laughter)!

OK, here is one of mine. It is my power trio CAGE and is from around 1984. I am the one on the left with the sunglasses on.
it is a little blurry and friggin huge because I took a pic of the original pic with my shitty digital camera.

I grew up with the guy on the right. I met him when I was giving guitar lessons back in high school. I used to teach a bunch of guys who played in the area. I still play with the guy(Dave) on the right in my newest band. We have been playing together on and off for the last 27 years!!! We decided to name the band SHRED because we have 2 shredders in the band and we can shred in harmony. Dave is the fastest guitar player I have ever heard. We clocked him at 18nps at times. He circular picks. I didn't teach him that technique. It is very cool to see and hear. His guitar collection is insane. Mainly Les Pauls and other Gibsons. A few notables are his exact duplicate of Randy's Les Paul, a 9.5+ condition 71 Les Paul Goldtop, many custom shop and histori models and Mathias Jabs actual Gibson Explorer from the Rock you Like a Hurricane video.

Well God knows that I'm no fashion expert, but it seems to me that the dood in the middle's shirt belongs to the dood on the right, and vice versa. [img]graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]
