The UN is accountable to no one, they're not elected and those running the show all hold diplomatic credentials that give them complete immunity from responsibility for their actions. Hence all of the necessary checks and balances to prevent this sort of thing do not exist. </font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I have to agree with that. When you think about it, it is quite strange that the organization that is meant to make the world a better place is not a democratic institution.
