My only comment here is that our viewpoint on images - and opinions thereon - are often dictated more by our own personal preconceived notions of the people, things, or actions taking place, rather than on the reality of what's happening.

People often perceive to see what they want to see. i.e., That which reaffirms their opinions of the people, places, and events shown, whatever your personal views may be. The reality of what's going on in an image can often be very different from what you personally think it shows.

Thank God for President Bush, leader of the best country on Earth. I can't imagine how things would be if Al Gore had won the presidency. Democrats wrecked America for too long. Gore would have agreed with France and the UN and wouldn't have done a thing after 9/11 except say he's sorry it happened. No guts, no backbone. When I stop to think about, besides Clinton and Carter, I've never lived under a Democratic president...

who cares..Al Gore isn't president. Bush is, I don't like him. I doubt I'd like anybody that's president. I don't think I"ll like Kerry either, but..I'm sick of bush, he's republican. Give me someone who doesn't give a shit and doesn't try to please everyone, and just fuckin does what is moral, and the right thing to do. Whether it pleases the lobbyists, generals, senators....etc. Fuck them. I hate government, just a necessary evil IMO.
