Re: What kind of man is our prez?

It looks like you put alot of effort in writing that post. To bad you directed it at the wrong person. I could not care less about islam, or any other organized religion. What I said was that I did not see anything in the text quoted (from the Qu´ran) that would encourage them to go to war. It is just their military doctrine, since they live in a non-secular region, just as the US has its own doctrines.
I agree that blaming all of their misery on you is wrong. People live in poverty and misery because they are stupid and less intelligent. Research have proven that it takes an average IQ-level of about 90 to work out and maintain a technology-based society. Only 20% of the world population has IQ levels of 90 and above. India has 81, Latin America 85, Africa 70 and I would guess the middle east lies somewhere among these levels to. If an average IQ-level of 70-80 is correct, there is going to be endless poverty in these regions.
Now, before you start calling me a fascist, you must understand how I think. Everyone is competing for the limited resources on earth. This has always been the major goal for any government, and every human.
You can't simply deny the fact that the US (AND ALSO most of the western world) has been exploiting the Middle east for oil, for a long time. The same goes for Africa and South America. This is what pisses them off, because they cant do a damn thing about it (well, they can try [9/11], but they will lose due to reasons given above). The fact that they dont even knew how to benefit from the oil themselves proves my theory. What makes me sick though, is all the efforts from the western world (including the US) to glorify our actions. We are there, to 99%, for one reason and that is to get or make sure to have access to the resources. To create peace and to help the people living there has second or less priority. To turn them into a democratic society might benefit us because it could decrease the risk of them attacking us, but in the end it is counter-productive since it will add just another competitor in the race for resources. To say that God wants you (or us) to be there, or that you we it because we care so much about the people living there is just bullshit. I guess people needs to hear this though, because it will make them feel better.
