Message to the troops;

        I wish you all the best of luck. Stay out of the way of the bullets and come home safe. Never leave a man behind! Dont regret anything. We appreciate everything and i wish i could give as much as you troops do...but for now i cant. But look out next year, im joining up with the Corps. My brother is shipping out the beginning of june and i know how it feels to have someone leaving. I feel the least i owe to my country is to serve it with honor and pride, the same way as all you soldiers. Remember that all you do, whether chef or mechanic, pilot or grunt, YOU make all the difference. Thanks guys and you will NEVER be forgotten

Your kind words are greatly appreciated. Wish your bro good luck and to stay safe. Good luck on your enlistment as well. I'm sure you will serve your country well. I'm sure the Marines have their own core values, just as we do. They are Integrity, Service before self, and Excellence in all we do. Words to live by.... especially #1... OK, so they're keeping the locals happy by not importing "racy" material (by local standards) for the troops. Any suggestions as to how to compensate?

                  Re: troop supporting at my apt complex

                  One of my drill instructors taught us how to make "field-expedient self-pleasure devices" out of a latex glove and a rolled-up towel.

                  Send them lotion. Lots of it. And CD's. From my band preferably.

                  Oh and movies too, nothing worse than being stuck out on post with only Full Metal Jacket and Happy Gilmore. Most places don't exactly have cable television, so what you've brought is what you've got. 80's horror and Italian gore films never cease to please. The racier the better, cause even though they look through the magazines, nobody sits there and watches videos all the way through.

                      Sully-
                      All the troops over there are going to appreciate that stuff more than you will ever know. When I was over there and we got packages from people we didn't even know it raises your spirits in a way that is undescribeable. Thanks so much for showing support!!!

                      mhalsey-
                      Honor, Courage, and Commitment are our Corps values. Semper Fidelis (always faithful) is our motto. Just FYI. Here's to a safe and speedy return to the states .

                        Re: troop supporting at my apt complex

                        okay... i went to a few hotels nearby and got the basic toiletries kits (soap, shampoo, razors, hand lotion)

                        also picked up powdered gatorade, chap stick, and army of darkness. we also had a stack of entertainment weekly magazine, so i figured it couldn't hurt to chuck those in, too.

                        thanks for the support, guys!
