Hey I need some new shit to listen to. Anything is game, I like all guitar oriented music.
Post up your favorite recent music. Hopefully I will find something I haven't heard. If everyone posts up what they have been into lately maybe someone besides me can find something new or that they don't usually listen to or forgot about.

Hey L, did you know that Ben Kweller just got a new lead guitarist? The coolest part is that my mom knows his mom thru work...I think it's crazy! My mom's boss also knows one of the former members from Less Than Jake as well. ehh just thought I'd share. Well, LGRMan, go listen to Less Than Jake too!

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Yeah, what's funny is his original guitarist broke his hand in Chicago before a gig. I was going to a guitar shop to kill some time the same day he broke his hand and I walked past Kweller, who had just come from the guitar shop and was on the phone talking about doing an all-acoustic show because he had no guitarist.

My mom told me that they were on a late night tv show with the new guy (I'm wanting to say his name is Jason, but I can't remember), and that they're about to go to Canada and Europe on tour.

I finally bought Susperia's "Vindication" and am amazed that this band gets so little mention. It's death metal, but I can't really think of another band to compare it to. I was surprised that most of the vocals are not the typical death metal growling, but for the most part fit the music very well. Some of the guitar leads remind me of Death.

Nuclear Blast's European website - www.nuclearblast.de - has the video for "Bitter Man" online. Nothing especially amazing as videos go, but both guitarists are playing Rhoads models.
