• Carpal Tunnel, or Tendonitis ? and....

Hey, I am not a great guitar player yet. I'm 35 a late starter...but really serious about it. But for the last 15 years..my jobs have all been hotel/computer/repetitive motion based. Lately..I've noticed my right hand/wrist is getting SORE. I can't play through a whole song hardly w/o pain..so I quit...I DON'T push it. What I am wondering...is it carpal tunnel (career ending?) or tendonitis (needs rest??).. I am being VERY careful, even with typing this........I can't even think about my guitar playing ending before I can USE it...
Any opinions??

Re: Carpal Tunnel, or Tendonitis ? and....

carpal tunnel can be fixed via surgery and a long recuperation time...as for the other i don't know...but if you suspect carpal tunnel, i'd go to a doctor and have it looked at...i suffer from small bouts of pain in my left arm, but it's neither of those two...i was in a car wreck years ago and my left elbow has never been quite the same...but a chiropracter can pop it and it'll feel better for 6 months to a year...d.m.
