Here's one that I forgot
"To Be With You" by Paulo Gilberto
It always makes me smile, such a simple acoustic passage being played one one of the world's premier shred fiends!

Good call on "Summerland" guys! That's a song that just makes me weak at the knees..

You know -- I've always liked the simple solo to You Shook Me All Night Long - Angus Young

Very simple and straight forward, but IMO some of his best work.

I had that solo melody in my head yesterday when I woke up and couldn't think of what song it was at the time! LOL The only cds I've been listening to lately are Exodus' Tempo of the Damned, and Opeth's Still Life and Deliverance. Once I put back in Deliverance, I immediately remembered it was A Fair Judgement. Now I gotta go watch the DVD and see/hear it live.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I've often had the same thing happen with Iron Maiden's Stranger in a Strange Land. I'll have this kick arse solo playing in my head that I just can't place, and wonder which kick arse song it comes from. And then I'll remember - oh, it's only Stranger. It's an okay song, but the solo section - slow melodic build up by Dave before Adrian rips your head open - is superb.
