Re: you have one shot

Alexi Laiho. I could say that i want to be randy rhoads, but alexi laiho is even a more pumped up version/contemporary of randy. Alexi is the great one. Or jani liimatainen from sonata arctica, what a master of the guitar. wouldnt mind being either

Dude...you guys missed the best one....ACE FREHLEY! Cool makeup, bitchin' 3 pickup LP's, smoke bombs, lots of beer, tight pants. What is cooler than a cardboard cutout of ACE?

TOUGH question. I would have to go with the late, great Randy Rhoads because of his style and versatility.

I've always really dug how he's worked some blues influences into Motley's stuff. And that wasn't exactly a particularly popular direction to go in the 80s.

The guy that plays guitar for all those bands on the radio

Actually, I'd pick Tony Iommi - The Father of Metal Guitar

I would have to say Randy Rhoads was the guy who did it for me. Although I really dug Eddie, I leaned more towards Randy right away, I love the classical influence and the fact that he was very melodic -and- could do all the funky VH shit if he wanted to.

in the world of hard rock guitar. who do you choose to be like.
