I need your help guys. For my english class final ive got to present a speech....tomorrow. It can be an entertainment or informative. I was thinking about what makes a real man, but i cant think of many reasons why. Then I feel bad for the idiots you hang around with. [img]graemlins/poke.gif[/img] Just kidding. Seriously, in this day and age, what makes a real man is so subjective. Plus you're bound to offend someone. You could say a real man doesn't cry, or that a real man can show his feelings without caring what others think. Two opposing sides to the same argument. Either way you'll have someone disagree with your position.

If it is purely for entertainment value, then you could state arguments for the stereotypical 50's man. A guy who wins the bread, doesn't show affection to his spouse or children in public, knows how to fix everything, etc.

Perhaps you should have worked on this sooner than today. Or perhaps you shouldn't be spending time on the JCF looking for suggestions for your speech. Or you could just say, "Fuck it" and spend your time on the JCF learning about the best guitars in the world. [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img]

When I took public speaking I did my informative speech on Tablature. I compared it to classical notation and brought one of my guitars to demonstrate with. I got an A on it and it was easy as hell to prepare.

You should do a free-form interpretation on the life of modern youth. Just cart a TV and PS2 up on stage and sit there and play for half an hour. [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img]
