    I love to write stuff for my band,I even prefer it than playin tunes from others.There are some period when you have to do something new but you can't even find out some new cool riffs tough...it sux.

      I hear ya dude ...coming up with Riffs and trying to be 'original' is hard ..it's all been done before ....but I think I'm putting a bit of a twist on some black metal flavoring...clean vocals ...

      Yes I said clean vocals in a Black metal song ...so what , there is no fucking rules and I'm Satanic ...I do what I want.. [img]graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

      Everyone I fucking know loves Black metal riffage but they hate the vox .................so I give them black metal riffage with 'good' vocals ...at least you can hear the 'message' a lot better...

      I like dirty vocals but some dudes really suck ...I hate that Grindcore shit like Mortician ...I don't get it really ....sounds like some fat manitu with a belly ache at the mic..

      why bother writing cool , thought provoking lyrics if all you're gonna do is burp into the microphone.. [img]graemlins/scratchhead.gif[/img] [img]graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

      I loathe playing covers ...I did it in a VH tribute for almost two years and I felt like a human jukebox ...a heavy metal parot..even if you nail the damn song ...it's someone else's song .. [img]graemlins/eyes.gif[/img]

      I do enjoy listening to others play covers ...if they are very good like my bro John ......me , I'll just do that for the money ...no big thrill for me really..

                well thank you Misses..and could I say that you are one talented metalhead yourself...with your voice I could hear you doing a harder Lucuna Coil kinda thing...hey gargel with some razor blades and go for the Arch Enemy thing..or both ...why not?

                See you could "sing" I have doubts id Angela could sind clean ...would be nice to hear you mix it up ...no girls mix it up really...it's either one style or the other..

                As with my singer ...that's the first time he tried death vox...so he could do both ...that's a great tool for dynamics in writing I think..opens a lot of doors. [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]

                we haven't been practicing much ...so in the down time I would like to hook up with John and maybe do a instrumental shred thing to post our guitar / amp "tones"..and some shred wankery..

                  I can't believe that was Ty's first time growling like that. No way. He pulled that off brilliantly.

                  Gargle with razor blades... that's one I haven't tried.
                  I've tried singing dirty (shut up Eric), but no can do. Its actually very hard- goes against everything my teachers drilled into me. Maybe I could catch a cold.
                  What would be cool is a two-female fronted band. One that sings clean and one dirty and they could go back and forth. One girl on bass, the other on rhythm guitar. That would rule. Then get some animal on skins... oh yeah. [img]/images/graemlins/headbang.gif[/img] And a wizard on lead... oh yeah. [img]/images/graemlins/headbang.gif[/img]

                  I LOVE Lacuna Coil. Man. Wish I could have gone to Ozzfest this year to see them.

                    Well Box that's just two songs ...we do heavier stuff ..doomy stuff , thrash stuff ...it's all in there..somewhere..all the songs are totally different I hate when a album sounds exactly the same all the way thru...it get's to be a pretty boring listen..

                    Em that's sounds like a great idea ...two metal chicks for the price of one ...this can't be a bad thing ...now you get to it and that's an order !! [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

                    There is a couple people I want to show this crap to ...I think Travis is one and Jimmy and Rattle and ...well there's a few guys ...and gals.

                        I just wrote the "heaviest" one so far (It's about Vincent Price)..the other two on the demo is a swedish flavor thrash tune but with clean vocals..and there is another one that's the most "powermetal" one I do..with a pretty fast , crazy solo ....too bad it's recorded kinda crappy.
