I think any new material from EVH is a-ok. The man is my hero and the reason I play and I won't try and compare this song to anything on VHI or any other L.P. - what would be the point? Sounds to me like the boys still have it going on and I can't wait to see them on July 3 in Toronto.
As for Eddie's appearance in that photo...chemo, oxycontin and a bottle of hooch can give anyone that old geezer look - I can send you my mirror if you don't believe me. [img]graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

When did he become 100 years old?
I know he had some form of mouth or throat cancer didn't he? and he reeeaaallly liked to party but shit I'm gonna be 60 in 4 years (I know scary aint it!!) and I look better than that! and he has to be at least 20 years younger than I am.

OH and I'll probably get flamed for this but I didn't like "it's about time" it sounded like he was trying to incorporate the downtuned sound into his style and be current. For all his skill and dexterity I would like to see him push the envelope a little more.
