Gimme some new tunes!

Hey guys. Ive been listening to the same stuff for a while now and i NEED SOMETHING DIFFERENT! Let me outline what i listen to so you have some idea of my tastes- Dimmu Borgir, dream theater, Iced earth, Blind Guardian, Maiden, Children of Bodom (ESPECIALLY), Sonata Arctica, Hammerfall, Stratovarius, At the gates, Cryptopsy, Borknagar, Dark tranquility, Dream evil..etc etc.. [img]images/icons/wink.gif[/img] and lately, Warmen and Opeth too. Well, ive been getting tired of listening to the same stuff for such a long time because i havent found any good bands worthy of listening to that much, its like ive ran out or something. Thanks dude, but im not really one to listen to new rock and such like thrice and shadows fall. Im not saying theyre bad, just not my style. I like the more virtuosity kinda thing. Most of the music i like is european too

if you want something truly different, go get small change by tom waits. great record, and i guarantee it's nothing like anything you're listening to now, and i'll also guarantee it's a fan-fucking-tastic record. you can't go wrong with a lyric that goes:

she's crawlin on her belly and
shakin like jelly and
i'm getting harder than chinese algebra.

From what I've heard so far of Shadows Fall, there's quite a bit of the In Flames melodic thrash flavor in it. Not to mention that the guitarist Jon absolutely rips... I guess that would fit your virtuosity bill. [img]images/icons/wink.gif[/img] I'm dying to pick up Shadows Fall's discs.
