To answer yer kwestion...I bet the # of men that trim their pits is definitely increasing. Male grooming has been the biggest trend in fashion for the past 2-3 years by an enormous margin. Males wax, get plastic surgery, pedicures like you wouldn't believe. As women learned long ago... trends like this cause new standards in the dating game, and if you want to score, you won't have a choice. Trim if you want some trim. Definitly not a dumb or ghey question. Quite the opposite in fact if you hope for any pussy. This is especially true if you are in your 20's, the current demographic where these trends are really getting entrenched.
Questions remain, of course. What disturbing ideas motivated you to post pictures of your chest area on the web no one wants to know. Please don't tell us.
I don't like women shaving downstairs. I want lawn. A bit of trimming to rein in an unruly bush is a good thing, don't get carried away. leave some for me.
If I was back on the dating scene, I can't say I would or wouldn't do this or that. I would investigate the trends and choose wisely. Anything unmasculine is out though. Shaving of the legs or chest is not acceptable for a man, and I would screen out any chicks who thought otherwise, no matter how hot their rack was.
