• Shadow Demon - Metal from Seattle, WA

If you like Iced Earth or Iron Maiden styled metal then you guys should check out Shadow Demon (http://www.shadowdemon.us). They're a local band up here in Seattle and they totally rule. They're sort of traditional / power metal with a bit of a thrash influence; its really hard to describe but they're pretty damn good. They have 3 songs posted on their website and you should try and give them a listen, its worth it!

Let me know what you think of them and I'll pass the word on to them. I'm gonna go see them live in concert tomorrow for the third time and I'm really fired up to hear them again.

Cool! I just listened to ...And The Meek

I really like the repeated guitar riff from :48 to 1:08, but the riff that follows that I don't like as much (too Euro sounding ).

Give us a gear list when you find out.

To the best of my knowledge during the recording the guitar player was using...

Epiphone Les Paul with EMGs (85 bridge, 81 neck)
Soldano Decatone 3-Channel 100 Watt Head
Carvin Legacy Steve Vai signature series 4x12 Cab w/ Celestion V30s

If I remember correctly shortly thereafter he got an ESP LTD EC-1000 with the same pickup combination.

All the solos were done by guest musicians so I don't really know anything about them.
