  • Attn Dutch JCFers: Waldrock Festival!

    Looks like an awesome line-up! Any of you Euro / Dutch guys been there? This takes place in Bergum, Friesland, my mother's home-town! I have been to Bergum many, many times. Any of you can tell me exactly where in town this takes place?


    NEVERMORE is the most recent confirmation for this year's 2004 Waldrock Festival (http://www.waldrock.nl), scheduled to take place in Bergum, Holland on June 19th. The current line-up for the festival now includes: DEATH ANGEL, FEAR FACTORY, HATEBREED, SLAPSHOT, MY DYING BRIDE, EXODUS, TRANSPORT LEAGUE, WITHIN TEMPTATION, TWISTED SISTER, MONSTER MAGNET, TESTAMENT, CRADLE OF FILTH, CANNIBAL CORPSE and MORTUARY I.O.D., FINNTROLL. More acts will be announced soon.

        I'm not going.. but I am going to Dynamo open air (Slayer, Children of Bodom, Deicide, Nightwish etc) and I'm going to Graspop Metal Meeting (www.graspop.be) [img]images/icons/smile.gif[/img]

          Guys,next week I will leave to see the Gods of Metal,the italian metal festival.This year the bill kicks ass!Alice Cooper,Judas Priest,Twisted Sister,Wasp,Testament,Nevermore,Anathema,Sodom,Mot orhead,Symphony X and many more!Can't wait!!! [img]graemlins/headbang.gif[/img]

                  in a time long ago, left just after the Fender buyout
                  (but thanks for the welcome)

                  Well I'm not known to the area, I live between
                  The Hague and Rotterdam
                  And since I'm not a fan of crowds, chances of me going
                  to a festival are slim (a Maiden concert is pushing it,...literally [img]graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] )

                  Bulthuissingel?
                  depending where that terrain is, maybe 1 hour's walk
                  your grandparents would probably be able to hear it
                  since the entire county (the pic you see) is just
                  161 square kilometers
