aaaaahhhhhhh
These sets bring back fond memories irregardless of how sick of them I became at the time.

There was always one song we could play anytime anywhere and they would stream onto the dance floor. I don't know what it is they all liked about the tune so much?

I would throw in "Say What You Will" by Fastway. Oh, and "Surrender" from Cheap Trick.

Defintely some Lynyrd Skynyrd. Their tunes still go over big-time with the classic rock crowd. I'd also recommend some Deep Purple, too, perhaps "Highway Star" or "Knocking at Your Back Door" (even though that tune is from about '84). And you can't go wrong with anything with anything from the first two VH discs.

We used to play April Wine "Roller" then go staight into "Shot Down" as a last song of a set. The drone of the dive bomb A string......Ah, memories...

How long is your set? and are you a one or two guitar band?

Certainly a lot of good songs to choose from

Did Iron Butterfly do a version of Radar Love before Golden Earring? I've never known of it.
