I often wonder why man is the way it is in terms of being monogamous. In most animal spices the male has many partners, nails em and moves on to score the next one (hmm..sounds like me before I got married ) I think this trait is still with us which is why we see a divorce rate of 50%.

eh...............to me, too any men means that it's hard for her to hold down a relationship or has shitty luck with them or is just not serious, so depending if I want a long-term or short-term relationship, it effects my thinking.

Yeah, it can be a double standard. Women can be equally if not more empowered to do what some men want to do. Personally, I wouldn't want a chick who slept with three different guys in one night anymore than I would do the same. So, I'd say it's up to the individual. I think the main issue is trust and being able to trust as well as respect for both when it comes to a relationship thing.
