Saw them all bro, even skated with Bob and Barclay Plager in the summers, played with a lot of these guys actually in summer camps and shit. I've seen them all play tho, Unger, Red, I'll never forget a Gassoff check or a blood bath at center ice.

I also remember the time, those guys went after the fans in Philly, and they all got locked up, yeh, that's right, they marched their asses in the stands, and smoked some fans!

Oh yes, I remember those days, we had season tickets as long as I can remember.

How about Federko? Hell I've played hockey and golf with him...

He wasn't trying to kill St Louis, the hit was fine, he got him a high stick which cut him. I think if Bettman wasn't in the house they would have let that go, they should have anyway.

I ve been a hockey player and fan all my life. I'm 40, from Detroit played in the same highest level amature leagues as Madono, Lafontaine the Hatcher brothers amongst many other NHL players. The game has changed but its still the best game on the face of the planet, even with over expansion and the CBA coming to an end. I don't think Thorne is as biased as most local broadcasting teams are. Brad Richards deserved the Conn Smyth, you take him off TB they are out in the 2nd round.

The NHL is going to be in serious trouble next year and I think its high time Gary Bettman leaves and goes back to the NBA. He doesn't get hockey at all. I'll be watching and remain a fan if they are playing street hockey, I dig the game that much

The Wings didn't buy the cup...they played within the rules of the league. NYR couldn't buy the cup...Colorado couldn't buy the cup etc.

          Now...lets go Pistons
